Smidge® Morning Magnesium is a balanced formula that includes three naturally-derived forms of the essential mineral magnesium — with no fillers or common allergens.

It helps enrich your body with the magnesium it needs, while providing that boost of energy you crave from coffee. But without the jitters!

Dosage Directions

Adults: Always start with a smidge! Begin with one capsule daily with food. Then take four capsules together, or as directed by a qualified medical practitioner. (See “low and slow” note below.)  

Children: Morning Magnesium is not recommended for children under 5 years of age, as it may cause excitability. For children 5 and older, take one capsule and work up to two capsules.  

How to take: Morning Magnesium should be taken with food in general, with breakfast or lunch. Avoid taking in the late afternoon or evening, as it may disrupt sleep. For best results, take Smidge® Evening Magnesium later in the day, to help you wind down for a more restful sleep — and to soak up a total of five different types of premium magnesium between the two products. If you’re taking only part of the capsule, you can mix the contents with yogurt or a smoothie.  

Start low and slow: Smidge® supplements are premium, pure and potent. Therefore, it’s critically important to start slowly, with a lower dosage than recommended. For example, a very small dose every other day, or even once a week, until you can determine how the supplement affects your body and what dosage feels right for you.

Sourcing and crafting

Our high-quality magnesium malate, taurinate and orotate (and a smidge of boron) are sourced from U.S. mineral shale. And each ingredient is tested to meet stringent regulatory standards.

From gently blending to encapsulation, every process in a cGMP-certified facility is controlled to ensure consistency and a clean product. We don’t use fillers, excipients, or flow agents.Our vegetarian capsules are filled with only active, beneficial ingredients. What makes our morning blend supplement unique?

Increases calming GABA: GABA is thought to play a role in controlling stress and fear.* Decreased GABA levels are associated with several neurological and mental health conditions like depression, and other medical issues. Why a magnesium supplement?

Because your body likely needs more, as magnesium is not manufactured in the body, and therefore, the retention is extremely low. How does magnesium malate work in its role of soothing muscles?

Magnesium helps with routine muscle cramps.* Epsom salts, rich in magnesium, are a tried-and-true solution for aching limbs. 

But what's lesser known is how malic acid can help with generally sore muscles. Here's why: 

Like magnesium, malic acid helps the body produce adenosine triphosphate (ATP) – when there's oxygen around and when there isn't.  

But malic acid levels also seem to trigger when the body switches to anaerobic (without oxygen) energy production. When malic acid levels are low, the body switches to anaerobic energy production much sooner. And during the anaerobic phase, the body tends to experience cramping and soreness.  

So simply by getting more magnesium and malic acid, you can help your muscles relax and stay energized instead of crampy and tired.

    I can tell a difference

    I can tell a difference when I don’t take morning magnesium. If I don’t take it I get easily fatigued in the afternoon. I also have noticed it helps my periods not be so sever. Thankful for this product!
